Islam has the most perfect concept of God. It teaches that the God is one and only one. Quraan says:

So, the Allah of Quraan is absolute, while the other religions do not teach so.
Quraan also talks about heaven and HELL and the punishment of the sinners.
Respected readers! the Quraan is spreading the fear of no one but of Allah in the mind of humans. If there is NO FEAR of Allah, one man like Hitlor can become a superpower. So the fear of Allah or his punishment makes a man peaceful even when he is a superpower. Any man who believes in the Allah(as in Quraan), he will not do a sin even when there is no resistence against him, even when he is a king or a superpower.

Just a correction: The only place to learn veads is not takshila vidaypith but it’s “kashi Vidyaphit” and you have to be bhramin to get addmition.

Suhail, theists of every religion will point out such numerous so called hidden truths in their scriptures too. Try with Hindu or Christian. With your logic all books of Hindus and Chritians too become the word of God. But how can that be as each contradicts each other? And not only that they contradict themselves too.
Take a simple example from Quran which talks about Allah being omnipotent and omniscient. Now plain logic commands that one can’t be both at the same time. If Allah is omniscient, means he knows everything then he knows the future too, and if he know the future he can’t change it and ceases to be omnipotent. If he is all powerful, that is omnipotent, he can change anything at his will, and in this case he ceases to be omniscient.
The other thing you talked about is embryology in Quran. This is totally faulty and has been picked up from the Greeks of those time. It talks of embryo as a clot, but the embryo is far from being a clot as it contains no blood. The clot theory arose from Greeks thinking that the women menses and men semen form the start of life in the womb which was copied by Mohammed in Quran.
Mohammed copied the Biblical story of Adam-Eve as being create by fictitious Allah. Today we know that all species are a result of evolution and no species was ever independently created.
Similarly, if you read Quran in depth, you will find numerous inconsistencies and a lot of hate for non-Muslims. That’s the reason you should shun Quran and shun all those like Zakir Naik who are out there to fool the public.

250. A couch, a house, Kusa grass, perfumes, water, flowers, jewels, sour milk, grain, fish, sweet milk, meat, and vegetables let him not reject, (if they are voluntarily offered.)
27. One may eat meat when it has been sprinkled with water, while Mantras were recited, when Brahmanas desire (one’s doing it), when one is engaged (in the performance of a rite) according to the law, and when one’s life is in danger.”

There are the versis I found only in 3rd and 4th chapters of Manusmruti. No where it says it’s totally forbidden to eat meat. It says only for bhramins at someplaces. Show me one single verce in “Vedas” which forbid hindus from eating meat. It’s culture which you guys follow not a religion based on ancient scriptures. It clearly says in vedas that “uski koi pratima nahi hai”(he doesnt have any image). Although you guys make idols with your hand and worship. 60% of vedas talks about monothism but people don’t know as they never get chance to read them.

Who says I am not Hindu? I am Hindu. And yes I am an atheist too. I think you don’t have a least bit understanding of the great Indian culture of several millennia. There is no Hindu who doesn’t consider me as a Hindu. There are Hindus who are monotheists (one god) Hindus, polytheists (many god) Hindus, atheists (no god) Hindus, idolator Hindus, non-idolator Hindus, vegetarian Hindus, non-vegetarian Hindus, beefeater Hindus, and so on. Your Zakir Naik talks very highly of Allah, who we anayway know is fictional and a bad character. But suppose for once we agree that Allah gave Quran, can you or that Naik tell us that why your Allah was so ignorant that he couldn’t see that his book Quran would be misused within 1400 years of its writing by terrorists all over the world? What kind of Allah is this who can’t even see this? Even a nice human, reading the Quran could have told hundreds of years ago that a lot of hate filled verses could be misused.
What are you going to tell Hindus? Nothing. By reading selected verses from Manusmriti, you can’t prove anything because if you read all of Vedas and Upanishads you will find all kinds of theories about god in them and that includes no god or atheistic theories too.
But do Hindus care about scriptures? Not much. We are independent thinkers and no book can rule us. We make our own secular laws and constitution which we have given to ourselves in India. In other countries like UK and US, Hindus are governed by the secular laws of those countries.

A few selected verses from the Qur’an are often misquoted to perpetuate the myth that Islam promotes violence, and exhorts its followers to kill those outside the pale of Islam.
1. Verse from Surah Taubah
The following verse from Surah Taubah is very often quoted by critics of Islam, to show that Islam promotes violence, bloodshed and brutality:
“Kill the mushriqeen (pagans, polytheists, kuffar) where ever you find them.”

2. Context of verse is during battlefield
Critics of Islam actually quote this verse out of context. In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. It says that there was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Mushriqs (pagans) of Makkah. This treaty was violated by the Mushriqs of Makkah. A period of four months was given to the Mushriqs of Makkah to make amends. Otherwise war would be declared against them. Verse 5 of Surah Taubah says:
“But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is oft-forgiving, Most merciful.”

This verse is quoted during a battle.
3. Example of war between America and Vietnam
We know that America was once at war with Vietnam. Suppose the President of America or the General of the American Army told the American soldiers during the war: “Wherever you find the Vietnamese, kill them”. Today if I say that the American President said, “Wherever you find Vietnamese, kill them” without giving the context, I will make him sound like a butcher. But if I quote him in context, that he said it during a war, it will sound very logical, as he was trying to boost the morale of the American soldiers during the war.
4. Verse 9:5 quoted to boost morale of Muslims during battle
Similarly in Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 5 the Qur’an says, “Kill the Mushriqs where ever you find them”, during a battle to boost the morale of the Muslim soldiers. What the Qur’an is telling Muslim soldiers is, don’t be afraid during battle; wherever you find the enemies kill them.
5. Shourie jumps from verse 5 to verse 7
Arun Shourie is one of the staunchest critics of Islam in India. He quotes the same verse, Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 5 in his book ‘The World of Fatwahs’, on page 572. After quoting verse 5 he jumps to verse 7 of Surah Taubah. Any sensible person will realise that he has skipped verse 6.
6. Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer
Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer to the allegation that Islam promotes violence, brutality and bloodshed. It says:
“If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum,grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure that is because they are men without knowledge.”
[Al-Qur’an 9:6]
The Qur’an not only says that a Mushriq seeking asylum during the battle should be granted refuge, but also that he should be escorted to a secure place. In the present international scenario, even a kind, peace-loving army General, during a battle, may let the enemy soldiers go free, if they want peace. But which army General will ever tell his soldiers, that if the enemy soldiers want peace during a battle, don’t just let them go free, but also escort them to a place of security?
This is exactly what Allah (swt) says in the Glorious Qur’an to promote peace in the world.
It is a common complaint among some non-Muslims that Islam would not have millions of adherents all over the world, if it had not been spread by the use of force. The following points will make it clear, that far from being spread by the sword, it was the inherent force of truth, reason and logic that was responsible for the rapid spread of Islam.
1. Islam means peace.
Islam comes from the root word ‘salaam’, which means peace. It also means submitting one’s will to Allah (swt). Thus Islam is a religion of peace, which is acquired by submitting one’s will to the will of the Supreme Creator, Allah (swt).
2. Sometimes force has to be used to maintain peace.
Each and every human being in this world is not in favour of maintaining peace and harmony. There are many, who would disrupt it for their own vested interests. Sometimes force has to be used to maintain peace. It is precisely for this reason that we have the police who use force against criminals and anti-social elements to maintain peace in the country. Islam promotes peace. At the same time, Islam exhorts it followers to fight where there is oppression. The fight against oppression may, at times, require the use of force. In Islam force can only be used to promote peace and justice.
3. Opinion of historian De Lacy O’Leary.
The best reply to the misconception that Islam was spread by the sword is given by the noted historian De Lacy O’Leary in the book ’Islam at the cross road’ (Page 8):
’History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myth that historians have ever repeated.’
4. Muslims ruled Spain for 800 years.
Muslims ruled Spain for about 800 years. The Muslims in Spain never used the sword to force the people to convert. Later the Christian Crusaders came to Spain and wiped out the Muslims. There was not a single Muslim in Spain who could openly give the adhan, that is the call for prayers.
5. 14 million Arabs are Coptic Christians.
Muslims were the lords of Arabia for 1400 years. For a few years the British ruled, and for a few years the French ruled. Overall, the Muslims ruled Arabia for 1400 years. Yet today, there are 14 million Arabs who are Coptic Christians i.e. Christians since generations. If the Muslims had used the sword there would not have been a single Arab who would have remained a Christian.
6. More than 80% non-Muslims in India.
The Muslims ruled India for about a thousand years. If they wanted, they had the power of converting each and every non-Muslim of India to Islam. Today more than 80% of the population of India are non-Muslims. All these non-Muslim Indians are bearing witness today that Islam was not spread by the sword.
7. Indonesia and Malaysia.
Indonesia is a country that has the maximum number of Muslims in the world. The majority of people in Malaysia are Muslims. May one ask, ’Which Muslim army went to Indonesia and Malaysia?’
8. East Coast of Africa.
Similarly, Islam has spread rapidly on the East Coast of Africa. One may again ask, if Islam was spread by the sword, ’Which Muslim army went to the East Coast of Africa?’
9. Thomas Carlyle.
The famous historian, Thomas Carlyle, in his book ’Heroes and Hero worship’, refers to this misconception about the spread of Islam: ’The sword indeed, but where will you get your sword? Every new opinion, at its starting is precisely in a minority of one. In one man’s head alone. There it dwells as yet. One man alone of the whole world believes it, there is one man against all men. That he takes a sword and try to propagate with that, will do little for him. You must get your sword! On the whole, a thing will propagate itself as it can.’
10. No compulsion in religion.
With which sword was Islam spread? Even if Muslims had it they could not use it to spread Islam because the Qur’an says in the following verse:
’Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error’ [Al-Qur’an 2:256]
11. Sword of the Intellect.
It is the sword of intellect. The sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Qur’an says in Surah Nahl, chapter 16 verse 125:
’Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.’ [Al-Qur’an 16:125]
12. Increase in the world religions from 1934 to 1984.
An article in Reader’s Digest ‘Almanac’, year book 1986, gave the statistics of the increase of percentage of the major religions of the world in half a century from 1934 to 1984. This article also appeared in ‘The Plain Truth’ magazine. At the top was Islam, which increased by 235%, and Christianity had increased only by 47%. May one ask, which war took place in this century which converted millions of people to Islam?
13. Islam is the fastest growing religion in America and Europe.
Today the fastest growing religion in America is Islam. The fastest growing religion in Europe in Islam. Which sword is forcing people in the West to accept Islam in such large numbers?
14. Dr. Joseph Adam Pearson.
Dr. Joseph Adam Pearson rightly says, ’People who worry that nuclear weaponry will one day fall in the hands of the Arabs, fail to realize that the Islamic bomb has been dropped already, it fell the day MUHAMMED (pbuh) was born’

Hence his field of duty is not only to pray but also to perform the essential jobs of the country.In such climex if a muslim (person who has submitted his will to almighty God) changes his faith he is as good as joined the enemy as he has abadoned his duty.
For instance, if an Indian soldier during a war with Pakistan takes out his uniform and dresses up like a Pakistani soldier and starts fighting against his former Indian brothers and if you were the Field Marshal of India what verdict will you give to him anything short of death penalty?And wouldn’t that be a common rule for every soldier? And if anyperson plans to betray his country wouldn’t this fear of death will keep if out of joining Army in the first place?
Similarly in an Islamic state any muslim rejects his faith will surely be put to death. And any non muslim wishes to embrace Islam will be aware of the rule.If a muslim wishes to reject the faith in an Islamic country then he must leave the country.But do you know of any true soldier who betrays his countray? Neither do I know of any true muslim who rejects Islam.
Point to be noted brothers and sisters that there is no 100% Islamic country presently.Thus this rule isn’t implemented in any country.

The fact is that Quran does contain verses of violence and killing. That is enough to say that Islam is also violence.
If Quran is supposed to the word of some sky-deity Allah who has all knowledge, why couldn’t this Allah have the knowledge that in 1400 years the same verses would be used to support terrorism? So did Allah really have the knowledge at all?

What is your source of islam? When you claim that Quran isn’t written by God, do you say that after reading it? How many proof you need? You will get more than you can image if you read it once.

By repeating a lie a zillion times does not make it true. So you can continue inisting that Quran is written by Allah, but the fact will remain that Allah is fiction and Quran was written by Mohammed.
Zakir Naik and other Islamic zealots are so blinded that Islam has become another name for terrorism. And the proof is visible because even ordinary Muslims do not even once question the authenticity of the author of Quran.
The Quran is not written by God because it contradicts earlier revelation by God in the Bible. It is also is internally self – contradictory, with later surahs abrogating earlier ones.
Surahs 5:46-47 testify to the divine inspiration of the Bible, but the Quran can’t seem to remain consistent with the Bible.

What illogical thing have I said? Nothing. The fact is that Naik is talking totally illogically.
If I write a book and say it is the word of God, doesn’t make it so. Similarly whatever Mohammed wrote in Quran is his writing not anyone elses. Naik blindly believes what is written in Quran. That’s illogical.
There is absoloutely no evidence of what is written in Quran is true. In fact there are several things in the Quran which have now been falsified by science. To name a few — Adam-Eve is false, truth is evolution; seven skies is false, the truth is several galaxies in space; mountains holing the earth in place is false, the truth is mountains are formed by the plate-movements of the earth; clot as start of human life is false, truth is zygote to embryo to foetus; and so on. One can go on and on to narrate the false things in Quran.
So ask Naik to stop his nonsense and try and live sensibly like a normal human.

The Qur’an is the only religious scripture on the face of the earth which has been maintained it its original form. All the other religious scriptures, of all the other religions have interpolations, additions, deletions or revisions.
The Qur’an has been in the memory of a multitude of people, intact in its original form ever since its revelation, and now there are hundreds of thousands of people who have preserved it in their memory. Moreover, if you compare the copies made by Caliph Uthman from the original Qur’an which is yet present in the museum in Tashkent and in Koptaki museum in Turkey, they are the same as the ones we possess today
Not true. Those copies of the Qur’an date to the time of Uthman, not before. Uthman destroyed all of the other copies during the Uthmanic rescension, therefore we’ll never know how corrupted the Qur’an is from its original form. You have no textual evidence for your claims.
Moreover, Christians still have 5300 preserved manuscripts of our Scriptures, dating back to the first century, and we haven’t burned any of ours.
There’s a big difference between reading a book or the quran, and actually understanding the text and putting it into context. Most of the non muslims commenting on this site, dont know their A**e from their elbow.

Our Prophet Mohammad (saw) didn’t write any book as he didn’t learn how to read and write. He was “Ummi” means “illiterate”. But he was not Ignorant yet illiterate. He didn’t need to learn reading and writing as Allah taught him directly.

About Modern and Updated science, yes we follow it too. Darwin’s theory of Evolution is outdated now as it is proved that bone structure can not be change even the skin changes.
And tell me, if Evolution is true than why man needed to build Air plain? According to Darwin’s theory, he should wish to fly and get the wings….but it didn’t happen. And now where is Darwin’s theory working? Which thing is changing now? If you wish to go in space, why do you need Oxygen mask? Why don’t you produce Oxygen by yourself according to the theory?

Quran is not been modified since it was revealed. About Uthman time line, he just added Dots on Arabic alphabets so that non Arabs can also read Quran easily as it was difficult to indifference between Tay and Bay (Arabic and Urdu alphabets) without Dots.

With the discovery of genetics, Darwin’s evolution is yet proven again and now we have even discovered how birds evolved from dinosaurs. With each new discovery of fossils, Darwin’s Evolution gets provn again and again.
Evolution is such a slow process that it has taken 4 billion years for species like humans to evolve. Human skeletons found over 50,000 years old are slightly different from modern humans as our forehead has become broader than them. This is evidence that we are evolving.
In evolution only such parts or limbs develop that are not “irreducably complex”. For example wheel is one such thing that is irreducably complex and hence we don’t see any species that has wheels. If species are created by Allah, why is Allah so dumb as not to see the benefits of wheel, so why hasn’t this Allah made any species with wheels instead of legs. Does Allah lack knowledge of wheels? The reason is that Allah doesn’t exist so how can he design wheels.
We evolve, that’s now beyond doubt, so it would be wise to kick out the likes of Zakir Naik and stop their nonsense.
