Afzal Plea Dismissed by the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court seems to be on a roll. After demolishing the Ninth schedule and upholding the Indian constitution as the inviolate law of the land, it has now dismissed the frivolous review petition of Afzal, the terrorist convicted of being involved in the attack on Parliament.

The Supreme Court has dismissed Mohd Afzal’s petition seeking review of the judgement awarding him death sentence in the Parliament attack case.

Afzal had sought review of the judgment saying that he did not a get fair trial. The curative petition is the last option available in the court(Bye, Bye Afzal :). ).
