Naxalites Attack Passenger Train in Jharkhand

The current UPA government will definitely go down as one of the worst in Indian history.

Ranchi, Dec 10 (ANI): A group of armed Naxalites attacked a Kharagpur-bound passenger train between Jharkhand and West Bengal on Sunday morning and looted rifles of the security personnel guarding the train.

The rebels thugs boarded the 246 Tatanagar-Kharagpur passenger train at around 10:30 a.m. and attacked the guards and seized their rifles and wireless equipment before fleeing, railway officials said

Jharkhand is one of the 13 states hit by the Maoist insurgency that began more than three decades ago. According to Home ministry, 76 districts in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are ‘badly affected by Maoist violence’.
