November 14, 2006 00:39 IST: Just a week ahead of Chinese President Hu Jintao’s state visit to India, Beijing’s envoy in New Delhi Sun Yuxi has claimed that Arunachal Pradesh is [a] Chinese territory.
“In our position, the whole of the state of Arunachal Pradesh is Chinese territory. And Tawang is only one of the places in it. We are claiming all of that. That is our position,” Chinese Ambassador to India Sun Yuxi said on Monday.
The Chinese attitude toward India is very clear. We will be only deluding ourselves if we think that this dog will ever straighten its tail. China has throughout its history been an imperialist and belligerent power and there is no way it is going to act any different now.
Arunachal Pradesh does not share any border with China, it shares a border with Tibet which is under the illegal occupation of China.India should make this very clear to the Chinese and tell them that any border negotiations will be held with the representatives of the sovereign republic of Tibet(when and if at all they regain power). No more pussyfooting from now on. If China wants to take a maximalist stand and hope to negotiate towards the middle and gain some concessions in the process then we too should take the above maximalist stand and negotiate towards the middle and gain some concessions in the process.

You have a point. Jawarlal Nehru payed a very heavy price for trusting them and following the policy of “Hindi chini bhai bhai” blindly.

That Chinese crap should be thrown out of the country, but we doubt our wimps ruling us will even utter a sentence.
